Tubs should be offered to heifers through the first 3-4 weeks of a possible stressful
period, such as a change in environment or variation in their routine.

For pre-breeding heifers, offer tubs 6-8 weeks prior to desired breeding date.
1. Feed one tub per 20 head and at least 2 tubs per pen or pasture.
2. Place tubs within 100 feet of where animals congregate
(loafing, grazing, feeding and watering areas).
3. Feed tubs along with adequate amounts of good quality
forage and fresh, clean water.
4. Heifers will consume approximately 0.33 to 0.5 lbs. of this
supplement/head/day.
