Feed 2 to 3 quarts (1.9 to 2.8 liters) of colostrum twice daily for the first 3 days of life
Start calves on HerdFirst™ Milk Replacer and DairyWay Calf Starter after colostrum feeding period is complete
Provide fresh, clean water continuously beginning by day 3
Wean calves when they consume 4 lbs. (1.8 kg) of starter per day for at least 3 consecutive days
At 6–8 weeks of age, supplement DairyWay Calf Starter with approximately 1 lb. (0.5 kg) of high-quality hay per day
When calves reach approximately 150 lbs. (68 kg) transition to DairyWay Grower/Developer
Keep all feeding utensils, equipment and calf pens clean; promptly remove stale or moldy feed
