Forage is the most important component of a horse’s diet and should be fed at a rate of 1.5-2.5% of a horse’s body weight. Introduce Standlee Smart Carb Performance gradually into your horse’s diet over seven to fourteen (7-14) days, supplementing the forage and/or pasture with Smart Carb fed at a rate of .05 to 1% lb of body weight per day. (i.e., 6-12lbs /1200lb horse/day)
