Begin feeding SPORTMiX® Puppy Small Bites dry or moistened at 3 to 4 weeks of age or as soon as your puppy begins chewing on solid foods. To serve moistened, combine 1½ cups of SPORTMiX® Puppy Small Bites with 1 cup of warm water. Mix until well moistened and soft. Allow your puppy to eat 4 times a day for about 15 to 20 minutes until he reaches 3 months of age. From 3 to 6 months of age, feed your puppy all he will eat 3 times a day. Gradually reduce feedings to a single daily feeding from 6 months of age to a year. Use the chart above as a guide. Keep food available at all times for pregnant or lactating dogs. Food intake could increase 2 to 4 times during lactation. Remember, these amounts are averages and will vary depending on breed, size and activity of your puppy.
